Sandy Dex is an artist who is passionate about tattooing, design and typography. Sandy is a self taught illustrator and painter. Being raised in New York City & New Jersey, her style was influenced & inspired by her love for street art, nature and spirituality. Sandy’s typography has been evolved through graffiti and she created Dex Art Inc. in 2013 creating hand lettering signage for restaurants cafes and bars in the New York City area. Following in that same year, she pursued a tattooing career as an apprentice and had been tattooing professionally at Tattoo Wonderland in Brooklyn from 2014-2020. It’s important to her that all her pieces are unique and meaningful.

Sandy is currently tattooing in a private studio in Red Hook Brooklyn. Since the pandemic she has created StickerDex crafting vinyl stickers of her art and opened a shop on Etsy.
